Where did they come from? What were their names?

Most of the refugees came from the Dauphinè region in southeast France near the Swiss border. But Huguenots from northern France (Picardie and Normandy) and southern France also left the country. Not all locations mentioned in those days can be found on today's maps, nor were all locations of origin always mentioned. Only members of the Reformed Church from northern France remained in Burg over the long term.
